When repotting your bonsai tree, make sure to use a drainage screen. Aside from preventing soil from falling through your pot during water, drainage screens serve to prevent bugs and insects from burrowing into your tree.
The best drainage screens are sturdy enough to hold the weight of the soil. We recommend plastic mesh for larger holes as they can withstand more weight than softer mesh.
